Battery Muster Roll

          At dawn in the morning of the 8th in obedience to orders inspected(?) my first section to Gen. (?) (?) (?) and was engaged during the day with Gen. McCook’s Corps leaving the field about (?) with our section of howitzers. Silenced a Rebel battery in the morning, the Louisiana Washington Battery in the evening and succeeded in resisting the charge of a regiment, while unsupported with (?) (?) from was (?) one horse killed and four wounded, two of them (?) (?) compel the abandonment (?) of my guns were engaged a short time in the evening before Perryville with good affect (?) (?) (?) of the 4th engaged (?) (?) before Perryville on the 10th & 12th. Marched toward Lancaster via Danville, arrived at Lancaster the 10th about 7 p.m. and engaged rebel force. 15th Marched to camp near Crab Orchard.
