Descriptive Rolls
These images are copied from the National Archive collection of Civil War records, RG94, the Descriptive Rolls for the Second Minnesota Battery of Light Artillery. They list officers, non-commissioned officers, transfers into and out of the unit, desertions, etc. The images have been enhanced slightly to make them more legible, though some are still difficult to read. The records can provide a better look at the activities of the men who served in the Second Minnesota Battery.
